A SALON IS BORN
There has been a huge shift in society’s attitude towards the environment. Finally the effects consumerism has on the planet is being considered. Dan and Regan already had this in mind for their salon. Not only as a point of difference but as a principal and a chance to take a stand in the beauty industry. Enough with the nasty chemicals, waste and pollution. Beauty shouldn’t have to come at a cost to the environment. There lay the problem and their goal: How can we make a stand against traditional practices in the industry while providing a clean and sustainable hair experience without skimping on the luxury? And so Bravado Hair was born.
In October 2019 Dan and Regan moved to Whangarei, found a space, created Bravado Hair Salon and began delivering what they set out to achieve: sustainable luxury. And they haven’t looked back since.

WHY BRAVADO?
Bravado, in essence, means to have courage to take a stand and show yourself. We have captured that spirit and painted the salon walls with it. We’ve consciously made the decision to join the movement to become as sustainable as possible. Eco is at the forefront of our decision-making. If it’s not good for the planet then it’s not good enough for our clients. And that ethos is only growing. We’re constantly working on making our salon as sustainable and green as possible.
