We believe in beauty that’s responsible. Our practices and partnerships are centred around sustainability, ensuring our clients can look good while doing good for the planet.
Sustainable Beauty
Sustainability isn’t just a trend—it’s a responsibility.
At Bravado Hair Salon we believe that luxury haircare and environmental consciousness can go hand in hand, which is why we take intentional steps to reduce our impact while delivering exceptional service.
-
As a Sustainable Salon, we recycle 95% of our salon waste through the Sustainable Salons network across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand, ensuring that plastics, metals, razors, hair and chemicals are diverted from landfills and waterways. Instead, they are repurposed into incredible initiatives:
Hair clippings are used to create hair booms that soak up oil spills in oceans.
Plastics and metals are recycled into new products, reducing reliance on new materials.
Ponytails are donated to create wigs for those experiencing medical hair loss.
Proceeds from recycled materials support community programs and charitable causes.
Every time you visit Bravado, you contribute to these efforts. A small $3 Green Fee from each client’s appointment goes straight to Sustainable Salons to help fund these initiatives, ensuring your service not only benefits you but also the planet and those in need.

We’ve partnered with Davines, a globally recognised leader in sustainable and ethical haircare. From responsibly sourced ingredients to eco-friendly packaging, every product we use is designed to minimise environmental impact without compromising performance.

Water is one of our most precious resources and we take steps to minimise our usage wherever possible. Our Ecoheads shower heads reduce water consumption by up to 65%, ensuring we use significantly less water while still delivering a luxurious and thorough rinse at the basin. These innovative shower heads also improve water pressure and filtration, creating a better experience for both our clients and the environment.
We know there’s always more to be done, and we’re committed to continuously researching, adapting and incorporating new sustainable practices.
“The footsteps we make today,
are the impressions we are left with tomorrow.”
