OUR ETHOS
“Offering a healthier alternative for you, your hair, and the environment.”

🎨 We’ve partnered with Davines , one of the leading sustainable and ethical colour and haircare brands. From the sourcing of their ingredients to the packaging of their products, everything is a conscious choice in an effort to minimise their environmental impact.
♻️ We recycle 95% of our salon waste as a sustainable salon through the Sustainable Salons network across Australia and Aotearoa. All of our plastics, metals, razors, hair, and chemicals are diverted from landfill and waterways and repurposed for a variety of incredible uses.
🚿 We use Ecoheads’ shower heads which save up to 65% of the water used at the basin. We also utilise their colour blender which saves 30% of colour and reduces 20% of chemical waste.
There is more we can do and more we want to do to help reduce our impact, so we’ll continue to research, adapt, and incorporate new approaches to our day-to-day operations.
It’s up to us as a society to make the change. Together we can make a difference.

🧴 Plastics are up-cycled into new products. Namely, outdoor furniture and even glasses and sunglasses.
🪒 All salon metals (including foil) and paper are sold for recycling with the proceeds being donated to OzHarvest and KiwiHarvest to provide meals for the hungry.
💇🏼♀️ Hair is collected and stuffed into stockings to make Hair Booms that help soak up oil spills in the ocean.
🧪 Chemicals are collected and sent to chemical recycling plants where they’re neutralised and turned into recycled water for use in construction and road works.
👱🏼♀️ All collected ponytails 20cm or longer are given to charitable organisations to create wigs for those suffering from cancer or alopecia.
