The salon was founded in 2019 by Regan (left) and Dan (right) in Whangārei, Aotearoa New Zealand, with the goal of redefining the hair industry—blending expert craftsmanship with eco-conscious values.

The supporting force behind the scenes, Regan ensures everything from salon operations to the digital experience runs as smooth as possible.
Bravado Hair Salon started as a dream—a vision to create more than just a salon, but a space where luxury, sustainability and exceptional service come together. We wanted to build a place where clients feel seen, heard and confident, knowing they’re receiving the highest level of care while supporting an eco-conscious business.
From the very beginning, we knew Bravado had to be different. By partnering with Davines and Sustainable Salons, we made a commitment to high-performance, ethically sourced products and minimising our environmental impact. We also set out to curate a team of passionate, skilled stylists who share our belief in ongoing education, innovation and truly personalised experiences.
As Bravado grew, so did our dream. With an ever-expanding loyal clientele and a growing team, by 2024 we knew it was time to evolve. Moving to 14 Clyde Street was a defining moment—allowing us to create a stunning, elevated space that not only serves more clients but enhances their entire experience. From the moment someone walks in, we want them to feel welcomed, relaxed and pampered.
