LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION!
Mornings at Bravado are usually filled with the hum of hairdryers, the scent of freshly brewed coffee and the buzz of great conversation, but on Valentine’s Day we added something extra special to the mix. We had the absolute pleasure of hosting the incredible Michelle Holt Photography in-salon for a team photoshoot, and let’s just say she absolutely smashed it out of the park!
The goal of the shoot was simple: to capture stunning portraits of our team that reflect not only their talent but their personalities and vibe in the salon. With her signature setup—a professional backdrop and lighting rig—Michelle transformed one side of the salon into a full-blown studio. One by one, she pulled in our team members, giving each of them their moment in the spotlight.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the salon, our clients looked on in amusement while enjoying their hair appointments. It was a rare behind-the-scenes moment for them, seeing their stylists step in front of the camera instead of behind the chair. The fun didn’t stop there—customers of Brew’d (our coffee bar at the salon’s entrance) got an unexpected treat with their morning caffeine fix. Some even parked up with a fresh cup (and then a couple of rounds thereafter), enjoying the show as the team struck their poses and showcased their best angles.
The entire shoot was an absolute delight. Michelle has a real gift for making people feel at ease in front of the camera, and her ability to bring out the team’s personalities truly shines through in the final shots.
